Product Description Pyle Pro's mini stereo amplifier was designed with today's music lover in mind. The PCA3's smart, compact design fits neatly on top of a computer tower or next to your laptop to power personal audio speakers. Produces 75 watts of power per channel. Pyle PCA3 July 27, 2010 Bo Hooked it up between my TV and some Bose acoustimass speakers that I happened across one day for free. Since the amp is nice and small, I set it behind the TV. Out of sight, out of mind.
75W is plenty of power for your living room. I only have the amp turned up about 25%, and it's still plenty loud with the bose speakers. Believe it or not 75W can be unbearably loud if you crank it up.
My only complaint is the blue LED's. Waaaaaay to bright. I put a piece of electrical tape over them. At night, even with the amp behind the TV they were lighting up my entire living room.
Pyle Amp review July 26, 2010 RCR - Austin Worked as advertised - used to connect Ipod to some outside speakers; have left it in an outside (but covered) area now for several months - very convenient for me, friends and family to plug in our ipods and iphones to play whatever music we want on the patio.
Exactly as advertised. July 21, 2010 Brian Small, simple, exactly as advertised. 75 watts is the "max" though - not continuous. Distorts around 3/4 volume but I expected that. Never use it at that volume anyway so a non-issue. This is the perfect amp for a "stereo only" computer system if you're into tunes and need to drive a decent set of speakers. The only drawbacks are lack of remote volume control (work around availiable for computer users via software), and the fact that the blue led lights are probably bright enough to be seen from space...
Cool little amp July 19, 2010 scibo Just a basic amp, but drives my 2 backyard speakers very nicely. Very clear sound when it's connected to the computer/ipod. Plenty of power, even to run 4 speakers, so I put two in the back yard and two in the garage.
Just what I needed July 10, 2010 Jordan Slominski (Arbor Vitae WI) This device worked well the sound quality was great and there hasn't been any problems. The indicators on the front of the box are LED so they are super bright but I don't mind the things does what it says and does it well.
