This mp3 player is very portable, it is about the same size as my car remote. It holds 8 gb and is expandable. I recommend this to someone who wants a small, reliable mp3 player without the extra bells and whistles. It does what it needs to do, and is designed very well for that purpose.

I have great luck with the Clip. Great battery life. Not real happy with the Santa firmware. No file browser. Limited control. Add the pitch issue and the Clip is just OK. Add Rockbox software to the Clip and all issues are gone. Control for every player feature..sound, pitch, and controls. Rockbox for the clip is currently in a "unsupported" mode. USB transfer is not supported under Rockbox. When the clip is connected to a PC or laptop. The normal Clip firmware runs. I move whatever files that I want over the the Clip, disconnect the Clip, and turn the Clip off. When the Clip is turned on again, Rockbox boots...sound is great!

I also got a 32GB Micro Sd card. The good news- an incredible amount of storage. But be warned- the refresh cycle can take up to 2 hours!
